TranSmart provided a noise analysis for the proposed relocation of County Highway X, adjacent to the City of Watertown Municipal Airport in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. This study projected future noise levels along the corridor—based on future traffic levels and proposed alignment changes—and included identifying receptor locations, measuring existing noise levels along the corridor, building noise models with FHWA TNM 2.5 software, and noise model analysis. TranSmart also prepared noise factor sheets and exhibits for inclusion in the environmental document, prepared and sent notification letters to property owners, and coordinated with local municipality.
