TranSmart provided ITS management and systems engineering support for central hardware and software, communications networks, and field device hardware and software—relative to the statewide Traffic Management Center (TMC) and ITS operations. Systems engineering and management services included implementing TMC process and procedure improvements, system configuration management, prioritization and evaluation process for standalone ITS and signal system projects, and system maintenance quality monitoring and assurance.

 

TranSmart also supported the design and development of a content management system and training video; identified operational improvements for existing TMC systems; enhanced performance monitoring and reporting by integrating ITS devices; and provided full-time, on-site systems management support at the TMC.
