TranSmart provided integration and testing services for this WisDOT pilot project focusing on basic safety messages (BSM), traveler information messages (TIM), signal phase and timing (SPaT), and intersection geometry known as MAP messages. This was facilitated with vendor roadside units (RSUs) and on-board units (OBUs), as well as a combination of vendor and TranSmart software components. The work included specification of the initial server for testing, and support and integration to the overall program.
