TranSmart, as part of the project team, is providing construction safety services for project areas of the CTA Green Line. Duties include training, safety inspections, and providing solutions that will mitigate problems and ensure personnel and work-place safety. This design/build project includes replacing running rail in selective curves, track ties, track fasteners, footwalks, contact rail in selective curve areas, contact rail chairs, contact rail chair fastenings, and incidental signal work within the limits of the trackwork outlined for:

• Lake Line Branch: Tower 18 at Lake and Wells Streets to Ogden Avenue

• South Mainline Branch: 17th Junction north of 18th Street to 30th Street
